Do you know this song?

about 1988 - song says new york new york is a dance song with laser sounds in it also has the instrumental part of sinatra's new york new york song (the musical part just before he sings "i want to be apart of it." It was a great club song anyone know this one? also, I think the name of the song is "rigor mortis" it is an instrumental dance club song from same time. there are no words to the song - rigor mortis might not even be the name but if it is does it ring a bell? totally lost need your brains , thanks
