i was hanging at this party called ALEGRIA at crobar in manhattan for afterhours monday morning, it was around 10am and me and my boys were dancing in the middle of the dancefloor when i turned around and there was TONY MORAN!!! he was dancing with his boys when i came over and gave him a shout. i told him how much he inspired me growing up in the 80's and how the latin rascals were one of my favorite groups. i also mentioned how many fans he has at clubfreestyle. yo tony couldnt believe how much love he still has in freestyle. he told me all this support just keeps pushing him to do more....he gave me a big hug and said thank you sooo much. the party was great but meeting tony made my day.

I am totally jealous BBOY3000. He is definitely a fav of mine. Had I stayed in Atlanta this weekend I may have been able to catch him DJing. I wish he would get back out there and sing again. He has an awesome voice. Talk about someone with talent!
 
awesome i hung out with Tony at THe Fever Records 15th aniversity party at CLub exit and i cant wait to be with him again May 30th, 2004.

whats up baby girl! yo it was so crazy cuz i was dancing with all my peoples when i turned around and there he was. i thought i was seeing things lol. my friends were pushing me to go say hi to him so i did. i'm glad cuz it really made my day. and this is around 10 am in the morning for afterhours. this club was crazy packed!! we spoke about the old school days and how much i appreciate what he's done for freestyle and house music. he was really happy....it was hot

Did he say he would ever do anything freestyle again? I am talking about him recording not producing for someone else. He needs to get back behind the mic again. It would be great to see him come out with a full-length release. Fortunately, I have his CD, that was never released, even the Latin Rascals releases, if he never gets to release anything else.

i told him that he has an amazing voice and i would love to hear him sing again and all he said was that the support keeps pushing him to do more.i dont see him cutting any new freestyle tracks in the future since he's so involved in the house scene but hey you never know...that would be great since tony is my favorite male freestyle vocalist.
