Welcome to another great Edition of Childhood Radio.

Todays edition has one of the most popular and most mainstream of Freestyle groups. Even one of the most successful girl groups. I'm talking about EXPOSE!!!!

This group has changed lineups more than THe NBA East Confrence changed Head Coaches.LOL. But i'll reminise on the golden age of The Lovely Divas from Miami!! The Original Lineup which included the lovely; Gioia Bruno had two successful frist two albums: Exposure, What You Don't Know. Those two albums i'll spotlight.

Real World/New Orleans star; Melissa Howard is a big fan of Expose.

Here are my 5 Expose Tracks

Point Of No Return

Let Me be The One

Come Go With Me

Seasons Change
Great Power Ballad by the girls.

Tell Me Why

those are great, but mine are:
(1)point of no return(original w/ sandee)-has a great dance beat a tiny bit different from the gioia version
(2)come go with me
(3)let me be the one(because i would love to be there ONE)
(4)tell me why
(5)seasons change(12' version)
i remember many times going to the club randolph's in "87-88 in miami and hanging out with the girls, there very nice ..............vapro

Always liked their ballads. This woman named Diane Warren wrote some of them and she's this amazing songwriter. She's written a lot of my favorite slow jams.

"I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me"
"Your Baby Never Looked Good In Blue"
"I'll Say Goodbye For The Two Of Us"

and of course..."Season's Change"

They touch my sensitive side..... :1luv

And of course I luv all the freestyle tracks. "Come Go With Me" being my favorite. That's gotta be one of the best freestyle beats of all time

My top 5 from Expose:

1. Let Me Be The One
2. Exposed to Love
3. When I Looked At Him
4. Come Go With Me
5. Seasons Change

Forget about the MegaMix- I found it! Yo, I can't believe how phuckin' sick 'Exposure' was. I have to admit that the whole album is hot. Just one listen to this megamix and I have chills. 'Exposure' defines Freestyle.

"Listen to me...before I go insane"- Exposed To Love

I feel like blastin' this joint on my way to the club tonight.

I believe Jeanette J. sang Point of No Return and One of the best songs Expose ever did was DIDN'T IT HURT TO HURT ME.. sang by Gioia. Exposed to Love was awesome too. Let no for the Extended version of Let Me Be The One.

I have to say, one of my fave Expose` tracks is one that everyone seems to overlook....

"What You Don't Know" I love this one.

then of course...

"When I Looked At Him"
"Point Of No Return"
"Come Go With Me"
"Exposed To Love"

Not to be picky, but Gioia was not one ofe the originals, although she was THE BEST! The originals were Ale', Sandra (now Sandee) and Lori..Nice thread!

Anyone have the mp3 of "Point Of No Return" ft. Sandee. How about the Expose Mega Mix that was featured on the "Season's Change" cassette single? E-mail me if you do. Thanks.

C-Los

Yo Carlito!!! What's Up?? The original Point of no Return Was Ale' on Vocals, Sandee was SUPPOSED to sing that song, but she cancelled the session the night before and Lewis Martinee' didn't want to wait, so he had Ale' sing it, she also sang Exposed To Love...

On the megamix, there's a hot beat played between "come go with me" and "exposed to love". Was it from an actual song or is it just a random mix thrown in there?

That's my favorite part :boing

Mark

I used to have the 12" megamix. It was great.

I think that Expose was the most mainstream of The Freestyle groups.

Glad you guys enjoy The Childhood Radio threads.
