It's another edition of Childhood Radio. The when when it was cool to be unusual!! This is a lady who defined that! Cindy Lauper. I saw her in concert this Wedensday. She's still great. But in the mid 80's she was the true It Girl. She was a true Early MTV novelty and tried her hands at WWE. She had some good acting gigs in the 90's appearing on Mad About You. I'm with Carlito and Frankie on that song "Goonies Are Good Enough". Matter fact that's the only song I like from her.

I grew up watching movies like The Goonies. Good pick guys. 😉

BTW, do you guys remember the Nintendo 8 bit game version of it??? I always found it hard to beat. Probably one of the hardest games Nintendo ever made for their 8 bit console.

The DVD for "THE GOONIES" is awsome!!!!! Great commentary by cast and they talk about how cool CYNDI is.Also, "GOONIES R' GOOD ENOUGH" video is added to DVD, definitly worth buying.
 
I've been meaning to get the DVD for quite sometime now. Now you're getting me even more anxious to get it because of the extra footage. I always thought they should've came out with a sequal but all grown up.

I agree about a sequal that would be cool and CYNDI can make a cameo.
 
Time after Time is one of my all time fave songs and theres a really good trance remake of it by Novaspace that's pretty good too

I also like "True Colors" and "Girls just wanna have fun"

Yeah, Corey's still alive!And the little chubby boy lives in the BAY AREA,maybe they can get him away from the computer.You should buy the DVD and you will see how they all look now.They all look good, they can definitly do a sequal.
