Okay does anybody know where I can get some cheap but good Dj equipment . Like two turntables and a microphone. also where I can purchase freestyle records ( a large selection). In the new york city area.😕

There is a place on Atlantic Ave@the corner of Flatbush Ave in Downtown Broolyn.The sell new,refurbished and starter kits also.As far as freestyle 12inches they have a few stores in the village but I can't remember the name.I will get back to you soon with the name of the shops with addresses/phone numbers.You should join a record pool,depending on your priority you might get some good stuff there.

Whats a record pool? You I never had my own Dj equipment or anything like that. What is good for a beginner?

Record pools are where alot of dj's get there music from you can see a listing of some of them at http://urbantip.com.You can get a Gemini kit for under $400.00.P.S.Try to get direct drive rather than belts,belts tend to snap the more you use them and try to learn to scratch.
