Can a person really give up on love?
i'm so sick of trying to find it or looking 4 it.. i'm just sick of it..
i'm thinking of calling it quits :rolleyes
i think it's just a waste of time .. can it really be that some ppl just are not ment to find love...
i think i'm one of them..
i think i'll just stay single..
cuz mr. right ain't out there for me..
how sad :splat

Some people become jaded, and that's a sad place to be. When that happens (it's a defense mechanism) you begin to question everyone's intentions and you don't allow yourself to feel anything (good or bad).

Funny thing is that to feel love you HAVE to put everything out there w/o the fear of getting hurt. Sure, u might get your ass handed to you (happens to the best of us) but you might also feel something POSITIVE.

Some people never put themselves on the line and lead a lonely existence.

Just my opinion.
 
Never give up on love. NEVER!!!

Everyone deserves love, and you only find it if you keep your heart open to it.

i feel what you guys are saying and i know every word you guys say is true..
but i have just gotten to the point where i'm so sick of everything not working out 4 me. i'm just tired of waiting
shyt has been going bad for me since 2002 and when i finally think it might end it doesn't
and i'm just thinking of giving up on it..
live my life as a single female have fun but not think of love ever again..
 
I think we all come to a point where we feel everythings going wrong but it'll all come around i felt that way for a while even felt like doing stupid shyt to myself but i learned things in life do balance themselves out and we need to be grateful for the positive things in our life that moment be our kidsor whatever no matter how bad a situation theres always something positive in your life it can be the smallest thing i was going to give up on love too now i've been married for almost 9 yrs it'll be ok in the mean time you have us to talk too🙂
 
Sometimes (including myselft) people just want to be loved right back the way we love that other person and when we find out that's not the way it is, it's a downer.

You have to think that it's not feeling loved that counts, what really matters is that you love someone no matter what and that true love comes only when you want what's best for that person without any limitations or hurtfullness. Love should not be selfish. That's true love.

Dont look for love just let it happen and enjoy it when it does.
Love yourself first, then you'll be able to feel loved.

i leard that a long time ago..
and i'm happy with my life.. it's just the love part i'm getting tired of..

Just BE GREATFUL THAT YOU HAVE FRIENDS WHO LOVE YOU.

I know just how you feel crazygirl. Imagine I'm 28 and I'm only in my 2nd relationship. I was married to my 1st for 8 years before we split up. It was just a screwed up relationship and it males me question my judgement that I would get involved with someone who could be downright cruel. I'm with someone different now, but I don't have too much hope for this relationship either and it's so hard especially since it's not all about me or this other person, but we both have a child and they might be the one's getting hurt. When things go bad, yeah I tend to get the attitude that I should just give up and I start thinking that I don't deserve to be happy or find love, but gosh darn it, Chuck D is right, we all deserve to be loved. Don't give up. The one saying I like to think of is we need to be with a few (sometimes many) people that aren't right for us to find the one that is. Love is a big risk, it scares the hell out of me, but I believe it is a risk worth taking. Good Luck crazygirl, I hope you find your true love.

i've sorta become like that, temporarily.. i've gone date-less since july and currently have absolutely no motivation to ask anyone else out. it's not like i'm restraining myself or anything, i'll wait until i feel the need for love in my life again. crazygirl you should be doing the same.. just give yourself time, don't actually "give up", and eventually you'll feel better about this all.
 
I agree w/ Chuck.. Dont EVER give up on LOVE.. I waited for love over 13 yrs! And LOOK.. REBER found me and rescued me from the pit of loneliness. YOU will have LOVE mama.. Love is Patient..

I only got one word of advice for you crazygirl ... if you ever plan to look for love again or let it in your life ... don't go off dating bad boys ... I know how many girls are fascinated with them and for some reason got a thing for the "wild side" ... but if you ever wanna find a good guy ... you aren't gonna find a good person in a bad boy.
