Alisha, and several other artists, shared the stage for a festive night at Boston's infamous Roxy Nightclub to celebrate the holiday's with Star 93.7 and friends.
Alisha, best known for her classic hits "Too Turned On", "Baby Talk" and "All Night Passion" took the stage at 9:15 p.m. with a hungry crowd! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, she looked stunning in her shimmery silver outfit, and she was ready to claim what was hers- the audience.
After a brief introduction, she was ready to begin the night, and with a fierce version of "All Night Passion" that was somewhat different from the original, but very up-to-date with a taste of House. The crowd was definitely loving it, and showing their love for Alisha as they sang along with her and participated in her performance.
Getting the crowd amped was no problem, as she "came all the way from Brooklyn to one of her favorite cities". The crowd wanted more, as so did Alisha. With mention of "Baby Talk" came cheers and the floor began to fill up as the music continued to play. People were dancing, hands were waving, and Alisha was doing her thing as she danced on stage from one end to another without showing any signs of slowing down.
The last song of Alisha's set was "Too Turned On" and at this point, the floor was packed shoulder to shoulder as people were still trying to make their way up front. This was the song that "everyone" knew! It was amazing. As the song came to a finish, she promised the crowd that she would be back soon. Let's hope she returns a lot sooner!
