what do u guys think about bootleg mixes of songs, i.e mixing an a cappella track over an dub/instrumental mix thus creating a illegal mix. Some see it as stealing someone elses work.

2 mixes I heard recently was Lil' suzy's "promise me", over "u don't know me" by Armand van

and there was the "Boy is mine" by Brandy & Monica over "lady" by mojo (i think), which was picked up by radio & then released as a single.

Lately there seem to be a lack of a cappellas on the current releases, is this the reasons why?

Are they any Bootleg mixes of current 3style tracks any one could recommend?

I read somewhere before that TKA's "Tears May Fall" was used as a bootleg about a year before it was relaesed or something like that. And I've heard a mix of "Bad of the Heart" from George LaMond.I think bootleg mixes sound cool.

THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE A LONG TIME NOW. I THINK IF IT IS DONE RIGHT LIKE TEAMING UP A GREAT STERONG ACCAPELLA AND MATCHING IT WITH A GOOD BEAT I THINK IT'S AWESOME BECAUSE IT GIVES A NEW LIKING TO THE ORIGIONAL SONGS. I USED TO KNOW A DJ WHO WOULD MIX LIKE A CLASSIC DISCO BEAT TO A MODERN DAY HOUSE DIVA TYPE ACCAPELLA IT WAS GREAT.

IF THIS IS DONE AND MONEY IS MADE AND NOT BEING GIVEN TO THE ORINGINAL ARTIST THEN I SEE A POSSIBLE PROBLEM! BUT I HAVE DONE ON THE SPOT REMIXES WITH SONGS AND ALSO HAVE DONE REMIXES OF SONGS FOR THE RADIO THAT PEOPLE ARE LIKE THAT SOUNDS REALLY COOL! SOMETIMES REMIXES SOUND BETTER THEN THE ORIGINAL SONG AND REMIXES SOMETIMES MAKE THE SONG. ANYBODAY CAN JUST PLAY A SONG, BE IT ON RADIO OR CLUB/PARTY BUT SOMETIMES BEING A DJ/ PRODUCER.........CHANGING THE MUSIC OR PUTTING THE ACCAPELLA TO A DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENT CAN GIVE THE SONG LIFE AGAIN!!!! REMIXES OF SONGS TOO OPEN THE DOOR FOR ALOT OF DIFFERNET MARKETS OF MUSIC....SOMEONE WHO WOULDN'T HEAR ONE TYPE WOULD APPRECIATTE ANOTHER FOR THE REMIX.

Hey i was just listening to that song by sarah Mclachlan The song is called Silence...........Its in a Freestyle form, Its usually Techno.........I JAM THAT SONG LOUD......lol it is GREAT........

And i love those kinda remixes.......i have Fragma - Miracle (Freestyle Remix)......... and i also have Miss Janes - Its a fine day (Freestyle Remix) Aswell......And those songs are both usually techno and TRance.......

Those are some good remixes.......

I have some Oldies (I.e From the 50's) With Freestyle Beats behind them......Good aswell........i think the beat is the one by afrika boombata, That alot of the freestyle songs consist of....NOT ALL But SOME.....lol
