LOS ANGELES - Bob Hope (news), ski-nosed master of the one-liner and favorite comedian of servicemen and presidents alike, has died, less than two months after turning 100.

Hope died late Sunday of pneumonia at his home in Toluca Lake, with his family at his bedside, longtime publicist Ward Grant said Monday.

Bob hope was arguably the best comedian of all times, his jokes may have sounded a little corny and old to our generation, but to our parents and grandparents generations he was the best. He is an example of greatness, instead of sitting back and enjoying his fame and wealth he gave back to his country. Though not a politician or a soldier he gave with his talent. Entertaining troops for nearly half a century in uso shows and holding numerous charity golf events. Bob will be sadly missed .... rip
 
as a big fan myself i just wanna say that we lost another great icon :sosad to many he was the best that this world had to offer and its just sad that he past away

bob hope to me was one of the most funniest comedians and good actors that i love to watch from back in the days, his movies i would see them more than twice cuz there be times that i couldnt stop laughin at the jokes he made and as we all know there will never be another like him

bob hope got to live the millenium years as some will say and he was truly bless is not alot of ppl that we know that get to live so long these days esp at 100 but as for him i guess thats what god wanted u know from one his interviews he gave he said, "theres nothing wrong with laughing, laughing does the body good it makes you stay young"

and i think this is so true i just hope to god that i can get to live as many years as bob did cuz i for one love to laugh and i feel young in my heart and as long i take care of myself god will add many years to my life

Sadly, we have lost another legend. But it was very nice that he lived such a nice, long life and had such a successful career. I know that many people have very fond memories of him.

at least he lived a great life. I remember watching him on tv growing up on my favorite tv shows like I LOVE LUCY and many others. 🙁
