New York, NY - The 9th Annual Billboard Dance Music Summit returns to NYC on
Sept 30th through Oct 2nd, 2002 at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. The
conference will bring together the major players in the international dance and
electronic music community for a week of panels, networking and clubbing.
Daytime panels will include discussions about the business of dance and
electronic music - promotion, marketing, radio, piracy, CD burning, operating
an
independent label and in-depth talks with dance music pioneers. The Summit will
feature a one-day "A&R Experience," where registrants will have the opportunity
to shop their demos to top dance labels, as well as a "New Artist Discovery
Contest."
Registrants will have access to a week of clubbing events at no extra cost - at
various clubs throughout the city. The clubs will feature top DJs and recording
artists from around the world.
