Every Friday Morning(morning show) of May they are gonna have Interviews w/ Freestyle Artist...Last week was Johnny O, this friday will be George Lamond!!! They also do Freestyle Fridays, more freestyle every hour and 12 o'clock mix is freestyle and the Drive @ Five w/ Dj Hans is freestyle!!!!

i was in miami last week and caught the friday show , it was great. the music on the station is great regardless of what day of the week it is.

on that friday, i felt like it was the 80's again!! Miami was very popular with the freestyle scene back in the days - New york should really take a lesson from this station, especially with summer coming up!

i have yet to heard any updates on their freestyle concert - anybody got a clue?? i have written them a letter, but haven't heard a word.

i would love to fly back down to miami for this event. they really should bring back the top of the crop for this concert, SAFIRE, TKA, JUDY TORRES, GEORGE LAMOND, ETC...
 
Loco all we have so far is that it may be a late May/early June event.

George Lamond and Brenda K. Starr are the guests this Friday AM at the station. George was rehearsing with his live freestyle band, Joey Gold and George Anthony. I have my fingers crossed that maybe they announce something on the freestyle friday show this week or maybe I can get CG to tell me how she got through to the station and I'll ask George directly LOL!
 
Thanks Bassy - please let us know if they ever have SAFIRE on the air for a interview. i would love to hear what she has to say.

Brenda K. Starr is also up on the Friday morning show with George Lamond.

They play MAD Freestyle, Disco, R&B, & House, ....but mostly Freestyle.
They just played:
Corina "Temptation",
Lisa Lisa "Can U Feel The Beat",
...& now they're playing "I Still Beleive" by Brenda K herself. lol.
Earlier they played TKA, Safire, & Erotic Exotic.

This station is da sh*t!
I remenisce wit every song! (plus they play today's stuff).
If u like ur Spanish fix, the Salsa station here 98.3 also does the same w/ freestyle, except they also have Salsa & Merengue.

This is true!!! George Lamond and Brenda K will be in the MEGA Studios. I'm interning at Clear Channel and I will take pictures with GL and Brenda K. and I'll tell Jack to put them up on this site. I'll get in a few words with GL before he goes in with Gino and Myriam

They are in town for the Latin Billboard Awards.
 
They have in mind to do a 4th of July concert..not much info out there yet.

I'm sure you peeps will keep us posted.

Holitas Mike...YOU'VE BECOME A STRANGER..but it's all good. I know how people change (with friends) when they get into a relationship..but good friends will always be here 4ya when it falls apart...I STILL WUV YA!!!!!!!
