Who would you vote for? I would have to say Scott Blackwell and then Lil Louie Vega.

hmm..i would ahve to say glenn friscia maybe. then I dont know there are alot of good ones. carlos berrios is good, Johhny budz, tommy knappy, jeff romanowsky

Oh yeah. how can forget glenn friscia ...... I don't even know if anyone even remembers Scott Blackwell.

Tommy Nappi isn't a good freestyle DJ at all. He uses sound effects to go hide the transition from 1 song to the other. He doesn't even beat mix half his set. Schommer, Bad Boy Bill ( NOT joe),Vega, Budz, Blackwell get my vote

Tim Spinnin' Schommer

I concur with you Tim Spinnin Schomer is good.... Two of my favorites is Frankie "Hollywood" Rodriguez and Mario "Smokin" Diaz from the Hot Mix 5.

I just heard level 1 on KTU and liked the mixing done by Tommy Nappy.Especially the last song which was a different mix of silent morning. It was slamming and not as sluggish as the original.

Didn't Mario Diaz have a freestyle mix tape call Latinos in love?

regardless of how it is mixed!

I would pick:

1st Tim "Spinnin" Schommer
2nd "Boogie Boy" Luis
3rd Juan "Too Big" Perez
4th DJ Aztek
5th Alan "Baddmixx" Boyd

Oh man how could i forget tim spinnin schomer. Yeah Id have to say I think he is the best.
I remember scott blackwell. he produces christian dance music and owns a label called "nsoul records"

Dj Danny D & DJ Valentin are the GREATEST DJs ever

ALot of you are Forgetting some of the Dj's before they became Producers, or Club Promoters, Record Label Owners or even Club owners. Here is My List in no specific order

Honestly, he sounds different when you hear him mix in a club, rather than on his radio show. I never said he was the "best", but he is decent. I mean we're all entitled to our opinions, but some may have only heard him on the radio, when it's hard to grasp someone's style from an hour every week.

mario "smokin" diaz had alot of freestyle mixes! But Latinos In Love not that i know of L.I.L. has three volumes (unless theres more) vol.1 :dJ RICK NICE, vol.2 :NO DJ SPECIFIED, vol.3 :dJ BABYBOY & DJ RICK NICE

P/S vol.2 was bootlegged by DJ CHAZ DA WICKED named WICKED FREESTYLE

I listened to Tommy Nappy's KTU freestyle mix last night. He played 4 songs in a half hour. It was horrible. Thats not mixing. Very boring. There should be no different if he mixes in a club or the radio. 1 Hour is plenty of time to grasp someones style !
