In NYC handling my biz!!!!
I have been to the traditional baby showers where we use a paper plate to make a hat for the mommy to be decorating it with gift bows and ribbons. Sprinkling a little water in her face when she first walks in surprised. Of course the opening of the gifts while everyone is looking.

But I'm looking to do something that has never been done before. Something fun for everyone. I'll be having a baby shower in May for my daughter in law and I just want it to be a blast. Not that typical baby shower.

Any ideas you can share? 😛

No Org! No roofs! I rented the center where I live and that's sufficient! :lol Crazy guy!

Now as for the dressing up as a baby......I like the idea but my son won't do it! I know him. He already knows what he wants to wear to the baby shower so that won't happen. Maybe I can get somebody else to do it. 😉

Any more ideas?
 
Hey betty for my first daughters baby shower, my mom made me a diaper cake and she put baby essential (diaper pins, brush and comb, nail clipper, etc) around the cake. I'll look for pictures and email you one so you can have an idea of what I'm talking about. It was really fun taking it apart.
 
during my baby shower we played games like

we passed around toilet paper, everyone took a piece and guessed how much would fit around the moms belly...who evers piece was closest would get a little gift

my aunt made mini diapers...one for each guest...and whatever diaper had the little mess inside got a little gift

also a jumble of baby words...who ever guessed all the words first got the little gift

and the old favorite who ever has the penny taped under thier chair keeps the center piece

and thats all we played...i hope you could use them...they were really fun
 
Toni your ideas are great. I will be using a few of those. And Cheree I would really like to see what that cake looked like. Please do send me pics as soon as you can. 😛
 
I was at a baby shower not to long ago where they had little prizes for Baby Bingo, Whose birthday is closer to the due date and the poopy diaper, where they put a white tissue with a hershey's kiss in the diaper. If you got the poopy diaper, you won a prize.

The last baby shower I went to I was closest to the birthdate and I won a pink teddy bear. Its so cute.
 
I was at a Baby shower this weekend, and we played a game I had never played before. I don't know what the name of the game is but for now we could just call it the "WIENIE GAME" You need an empty 3 liter soda container, a few hot dogs(not boiled), and a long string. Basically you make a whole at the tip of the hot dog & run the string through it. Then you put the string around your waiste & make sure the hot dog is in "WIENIE" position. You then stand over the empty container & try to get the wiene into the container without looking. I believe they gave us like 30 seconds to achieve this difficult mission. It was hilarious.
 
AT THE BABY SHOWER NOW AND DAYS THEY DONT BRING diapers SO IF YOU GOING TO HAVE GUYS IN TO THE BABY SHOWER THEY SHOULD COME WITH diapers IF NOT THEY CANN'T COME IN I HEARED THAT AFTER I DID THE BABY SHOWER FOR MY SISTER INLAW I THINK THATS IS SO KOOL . SHE GOT EVERYTHING BUT NO diapers AT ALL .

IT COULD BE A SMALL BAG OF diapers OR BIG .

Corleone, :lol this weenie game I have NEVER, EVER, EVER heard of and I was rolling over here when I read it. That is DIFFERENT! All the nasty minds will get a kick out of that game. :lol
