A Message to Ecstatic Red Sox fans

As a Yankees fan, let me be the first to congratulate you. Your team feasted on our weak pitching staff, and effectively shut down our heavy hitters.

I must admit it is a bit embarrassing to be up 3 games and then lose (it sucks).

But I gotta say... Man, stop playin' yourselves and act dignified. It's like you've never won before or sumthing. Oh yes, I forgot... You HAVEN'T.

It's gonna be a long, cold winter for Yankees fans but one thing is true (and the Sox can't say this with any certainty...) We will be there again next year.

And let's not forget the real score...

Yankees 26
Red Sox 0

You still have a long way to go baby.

In the end, I don't want to rain down on your fun. You REALLY DO deserve your joy, and like I said before, Congratulations.

Con mucho amor...

Hiram

Very well put Hiram, could'nt of said it better myself.

Oh, y los Red Sox y sus fanaticos se pueden ir al mismo CARAJO !!!!!!!!

Msg. to Red Sox fans living in Massachusetts and were at Kenmore Sq. and Fenway Park on the night this past Wednesday:

You surely lived up the to stereotype and gave a BAD presention of Massachusetts/Boston. Dude, what was up with the riots?

They SHOULD put a ban on distributing liquor during the World Series.

That's right. Act dignified, like Yankees fans.

You remember them, the ones that were throwing trash on the field after the umps called A-Rod out for his interference, and then did it again in the 9th inning, to the point where stadium officals had to get on the speaker system and tell fans not to throw trash on the field.

Throwing trash vs starting riots and acting like animals...ok LOL

I didnt understand why the Red Sox fans got so outta control.. Most fans party- not riot after a huge victory like that.. Hate to see what they'll do IF - and thats a big one- IF they win the World Series.

The original post talked about fans being dignified. I HARDLY think throwing trash on the field to the point where police had to be called in is dignified.

Yes the red sox fans up in boston are so dignified that cops had to come in shoot pepper spray into the crowd and a girl died...cuz of flipping PEPPER SPRAY..i would say "only in new york" but bean town beat us to it...besides i find it very odd that mayor bloom(ingidiot)berg was there...i mean think about it: when was the last the last time the yanks won the series? 2000. when did bloom(ing idiot)berg become mayor? 2001. where is bloom(ing idiot)berg originally from? BOSTON!!! Coincidence? HELL NO!!! He was sent here to specifically screw over new york city and the yankees cuz boston can't hold a candle to us...they can't even light the flame

LOL.....

Riiiiiight!

I don't need to make excuses. lmao! My only point was that there are New Yorkers who don't know how to act, just like there were people in Boston that don't know how to act.

If you don't believe me, why not call the list of women who were sexually assualted at the last Puerto Rican Day Parade? I'm sure they can tell you those New Yorkers were FAR from dignified.

A better example would have been the west indian parade...someone's always getting shot :yoomg

definitely not a hater Henny....trust me. I've lived through 35 of the 86 years of misery the Sox have gone through, so I'm just thoroughly enjoying the moment like I'm entitled to. CT don't need a team to distract the Yanks/Boston rivalry. We enjoy being the state in the middle of the rivalry to watch them dog it out year after year. It's just nice to see the Sox steal one from the Yanks for a change.
