I heard this today on KTU, and yes.net didn't have it posted. The song was by a female artist It went something like "if you leave boy." The song ended with an acapella version of the chorus.

Not much info, but it sounds like it could be JAYA - "If You Leave Me Now".

You people rock. That's it. What a catchy song...apparently was a huge hit in 1990, hitting #44 on the Hot 100 and #55 on Z100's Top 100 countdown for that same year.
