It seems that Freesyle has totally disappeared. I cannot find anything new anymore. The compilations are all but gone except for mixed compilations but being a DJ myself, I don't want to buy something that is already mixed. Can anyone let me know if anything is out there to buy?

oh i know, thats tough roger. they really are all mixed these days. u dont wanna buy singles?
 
Theres a new cd compilation that was just released w/ mainly Texas artists. If you want I can find out more info about it.

I am also interested in getting any new CD Maxi singles from Freestyle artists.

The name of the CD is called "Freestyle Fusion" featuring TX artists: SJ2, Angel, Anthony S, Eric, Dario, Elizabeth, Tury Q, Patty & Joel Stevens.

There are 16 tracks on there...out of the 16 tracks, me & my boys Sam Michaels & Danny Piseno aka The Klub Jumpers produced more than 1/2 of them. Sorry I've been keeping the project a secret from everyone.

The website www.fusionErecords.com is not yet up and running but will be soon. There's a store here in town called Music Connection which you can purchase the cd at 210-673-2850. I'm not too sure if they do online ordering.
 
when is richie s. "black rose of love" gonna come out on one of these new comps a new full version i have the orig from the pull-out mix?

I just ordered the Freestyle Fusion compilation today as well as the Freestyle Fantasy one from last year. I look forward to getting some new Freestyle. Has anyone heard the Freestyle Fantasy one? They said I should get it in a few days. I will let you guys know how they are.

Yeah I play some of the tracks off the Freestyle Fantasy. The biggest songs on there are track 1. "Come Back To Me" by Angelino, Track 11. "If You Come Back To Me" by Cesar & Track 13. "A Players Eyes" by Julissa which I play all 3 on the radio.
 
Maybe I need to move to San Antonio to hear new Freestyle. Freestyle is dead up here, sad to say. I should get my comps in the mail tomorrow so I guess I will be previewing it then. I do love Julissa's "A Player's Eyes" so I am glad that is on the earlier comp.
I hope the sound quality is good. It seems to be a problem with latter comps these days.
 
Heck, in terms of Freestyle, there is really nothing new to buy these days. I think it Freestyle has reached its end.
 
If youve been checking out the Canada forum on the board you'll see that freestyle is alive and well in Canada. Producer Chris Phillips and Odeon Records are working on putting together one of the most highly anticipated compilations of the year, The return of Planet Freestyle

It will be released in late August. Also, Freestyle Heaven Volume 5 was released recently and it has a few good songs on it.

As for the states, I wonder when the next FREESTYLE FRESH KIDS Will be released?
 
I know that the Planet Freestyle compilation will be coming out soon but it seems non-mixed comps are a rare breed these days. I don't see many posts any more about new stuff coming out. That leads me to believe that Freestyle is in its darkest hour. I hope I am wrong.

I wanted to put a smile on your face and give you good news.
First, Total Kaos Records will be releasing a new CD COMPILATION
which is currently in the works as we type.
Second, this will be a 2 CD set containing 1 mixed CD and one containing FULL LENGTH versions of all the songs so you have a choice.
I hope this is good news and I will be POSTING this on CF when it is ready to be pressed. I am still working on some new material for this project. 🙂
