A Warren County elementary teacher faces a maximum 100 years in prison if she's convicted of having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old boy.

Only news two was in Fentress County as 27 year old Pamala Rogers Turner was arrested and charged with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape. District Attoney General Dale Potter said that Turner, a PE teacher and coach at Cenrtertown Elem, had an ongoing sexual relationship with a male student. Potter said that some of the incident even took place at school and at the boy's home, where the teacher reportedly lived a short while.

"Most of the time, we try to prosecute them as harshly as possible when it comes to sex crimes involving children. As far as this case, we intend to prosecute it to thefullest extent as possible. As far as saying that she will get x amount of time or anything like that, that will probaly be determined by a judge," said Potter.

i once had a teacher when i was in the 6th grade that was rumored to have posed in either penthouse of playboy . the rumor was never confirmed 🙁 :lol :shush
 
Really hate to single out the women,since we all know this is usually a offense committed by a male teacher...but here is another one that got eclipsed by the other two yesterday
GREENVILLE,NORTH CAROLINA -- A female high school teacher and cheerleading coach has been charged with having a sexual relationship with a student.

Katherine B. "Katy" Tew, 30, a teacher at South Central High School, faces charges of indecent liberties with a student by a teacher and sex offense with a student by a teacher.

Pitt County Sheriff's Office Chief Investigator Lee Moore said the charges stem from allegations made by a 17-year-old male student but offered no other details.

It is illegal for a teacher or any other school personnel to have a sexual relationship with a student at the same school, even if the student consents.

Tew has been on paid leave since Jan. 25, when the investigation began. The school system plans to evaluate the evidence and decide whether to terminate employment or change her status to leave without pay, school spokeswoman Deborah Long said.

Really not sure if this is an alarming trend or if it was just under-reported in the past.I don't think minors should ever be taken advantage of sexually,but it does seem a lot of these student "victims" lately like to hold on to evidence after-the-(f)act for "safekeeping".
 
Daym....that's crazy.

But Diamond is right.....there are many more male teachers and coaches that do this.
