Thanks bronxfreestyle 🙂 I used to watch 2nd Generation every Saturday morning on Channel 11 here in NY. It was a cool show. Too bad there isnt anything like that on tv anymore.

I remember during freestyles decline, channel 11 used to show "second generation" on Sundays at 10 or 11 am......i always caught the end of it because i remember waking up to the show from my hang over and yackin in the toilet bowl!!!
 
i also missed the videos on MTV cause i was always in the clubs watching them perform live, so that made up for it. besides, i was never home to watch tv. too much to do in those days!!!
 
Does anyone remember the show called "Latin Connection" before Second Generation ever aired? It was hosted by two unknowns, but they also played freestyle videos. Help me out. Please tell me I'm not crazy.
 
I remember it.

That show was great, especially because of the FreeStyle artists who appeared on it.

I have a TKA performance of "Tears May Fall" (from back in 1988 on "The Latin Connection").

i remember the latin connection show, i saw tka and judy torres performing on it when i was 12 or 13.....i also remember the episode of second generation that featured sa-fire hanging out with the guys....anyone remember dance party usa? that featured a lot of freestyle performers....

Hey bboy! I remember Dance Party USA! I didnt have cable at the time but I had someone tape it for me. I have the New years episode from 1990...well actually it was 1991...lol But the Cover Girls and Brenda K Starr were some of the performers. By the way, did any of u see George LaMond performing on Showtime at the Apollo? I have that on tape too!

It was Tony Moran and the name of the show was Damn I forgot. I have a clip of the show spmewhere but I forgot the name of the show. But I do know it was Tony Moran.😀
