Colorado Rockies last bench Relief Pitcher; Todd Jones made some ignorant statements to a Denver paper about his thoughts on a open gay baseball player. He said; A gay player has rights, but he should not be allowed show it and make it a distraction in the clubhouse!!

Well Todd; I would say it's a distraction to be a pitcher that has a 6.00 ERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's sad to see that the question about whether Baseball is ready for an openly gay ball player looks to be no. If you got a jacka$$ like Todd(who gives up too many HR's)Jones who will say ignorant statements, goodness knows how many think that ignorance.
