Wow, there are a lot of great contestants on the show this time!! Did anyone see it last night?? I thought the best were Clay, Ruben, and Trenyce!!

Josh is leaving the competition because he was called to go overseas. The producers of the show guaranteed him a spot on American Idol 3 though. 🙂

Yes he's leaving. He got called and he doesn't want to stay behind when the rest of the guys are going. He's guaranteed a spot for the next season though. 🙂

Sorry DJ Rene J, but Julia being a "hottie" doesnt justify her winning this competition. She has an ok voice, but she came very close to being booted off the show tonight.

Vanessa Olivarez got booted off the show tonight.

As for Josh, there was no mention tonight of him leaving the show.
