Ok..is it just me, or are some of the contestants this year downright awful??? I dont even know how most of them made it into the top 32. The 10 that went last night were so bad with the exception of 2 guys...Joshua Gracin (the Marine) and Corey Clark who sang a beautiful rendition of one of my all time fave songs, "Foolish Heart" by Steve Perry. If it werent for them, I dont know how they the public could pick 2 out of those 10!!!

YEAH I WILL ADMIT JOSH WAS GOOD AND COREY....NEEDED TO STAY ON KEY ON SOME PARTS OF THE SONG BUT AS FOR ALL THE CONTESTANTS ALOT OF THEM WERE AWFUL...I MUST ADMIT IT MADE THE SHOW INTERESTING TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE TONE DEAF. LOL
 
I think the guys are definitely better than the girls this year!!! Im interested in seeing the wild card show next week....I really hope that guy Clay Aiken gets in!!

aww freestylgal I thought clay was plain awful....it's between KIMBERLY LOCKE and RUBEN!! The Morenos Got it on LOCK this time around! they are singin there azzez off!! Finally , talented people gettin some play and not Kelly Clarkson aka ONE HIT WONDER..AWFUL SHE WAS..TAMRYA Was the real winner....and I STILL THINK FRENCHIE WAS THE WINNER!! THE GIRL WAS A DIVA FOR REAL!

Well I liked the way the marine, Joshua sang. I think he was a natural..........I liked Corey too but to me Joshua was better.

I look at American Idol because of the publicity it gets. Everywhere you look, it's American Idol. I get curious and watch the show. Plus anything with singing and music draws my attention. :blah
 
I agree LaBetty...I think Joshua was wonderful and so far, I think I would like to see him win this competition. REMIXX...I agree with you that Kimberly and Ruben are great, but I dont agree about Clay...I think he has a very nice voice. Anyone who could sing a Journey/Steve Perry song nicely, is ok in my book. No, he may not have the look of the American Idol, but he is very good. And I dont think the judges would be including him in the Wild Card round if he wasnt. Let's not forget one thing, a lot of these contestants can make it big even if they dont win...look at Tamyra...she will go far even though she wasnt the winner. I was watching Caroline Rhea this morning, and Debbie Gibson was on. She is a big fan of American Idol and she thinks Frenchie Davis will go very far even though she is no longer on the show. And I agree with her. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but the winner should be based on their true talents...not looks, bodies, or anything else.
