I was listening to Elliot In The Morning this morning. They was talking about How Sue Hudson was beat out by the skinny Red Head kid. I was like ..what!!!! I don't watch it, but I see the highlights on Access Hollywood. I saw how this kid sing, he sings like crap!!!!!!!!!!! Sue can really sing. I'm like..OK??

What are your thoughts.

I think her name is Jennifer Hudson. I don't watch it like that either but your right Mikey that red head kid sucks. His voice could put my ass right to sleep. When I heard Jennifer got voted off I was surprised.
 
You know I totally agree with you Mike on this one I can not see why this guy that has a 1940 voice can be an American Idol thats such bull shhh if you ask me. I could probably send him to my grandmother inlaw and shell love him. But as for our Era (meaning the teens) Who the hell would vote for him and why, he should have left this American Idol years ago.
 
Apparently whoever seems to be voting for these idiots isn't basing it on talent..

I am sure like all the other Idol rejects, Ms. Hudson will find work in the industry very soon.. It's just the exposure they need to catapult them.

I think it's all these little teenybopper TRL chicks who get on Message boards with othere or call threeway with their friends and say; Lets vote for the dreamy cute red head boy"!!
 
well, although i did not like jennifer hudson from the beginning (she's too cocky) i don't think she deserved to be the one to leave. that red head has got to go! how he is still in this competition is amazing to me. even if these girls are voting for a cute guy, um they must be blind cause i don't think he's even cute. the morning show i listen to was saying how it just seems fixed this year. who knows. it could be fixed and no one would ever know.
 
My mother thinks it's the fact they don't want another black singer to win like last year with Ruben and many thought Clay was screwed. I don't think that, But it does seem that it's fixed.
 
Last night show was a disappointment!!! :mad

Jennifer Hudson did not deserve to leave the show...she has a strong voice! John Stevens should have been the one ousted out of the competition, he has no charisma; no stage presence. He has a nice voice, but not strong enough to be the next American Idol! I think he gets pity votes!
 
Ok, first of all. I think its disgusting that the media should make a racial issue out of a singing competition. What I think happens is that when any of the judges, particularly Simon puts a contestant down...such as John Stevens...and that person has a core group of fans...those fans will give that contestant that many more votes. So yes, it could be sympathy votes. And I dont think John Stevens is a bad singer...I just think he is young, inexperienced, and not really ready for a competition like this. In time, he could be very good. Some people like that old fashioned style of singing. There is an artist named Michael Buble who sings old Sinatra songs and he is great. And for a 16 yr old teenager, John Stevens has a lot of class...and he is definitely not ugly. And honestly, Id rather hear John Stevens sing than any of those disgusting rappers out there.

I was actually really hoping that Fantasia would go last night. I think she is too full of herself and I didnt like the way she made Barry Manilow's song "Its A Miracle" into a church revival. While Jennifer hasnt been my favorite, she has improved tremendously over the past few weeks and she should have been around for awhile longer. Should John Stevens have gone last night? Yes...at this point, he should...but that doesnt make him an awful singer..he definitely has potential. But remember what happened the first season when Tamyra Gray was voted off instead of Nikki McKibbin? Or how about the one time last yr that Ruben was in the bottom 3? So last night was another instance of people voting for the wrong contestants. But when you leave the voting in the hands of America...and a lot of teenagers...this is what happens. That is why Ryan Seacrest kept emphasizing last night that you should vote for the best singer in the competition. I truly hope that Latoya or George wins.

Jennifer totally got screwed last night. The last two weeks, she has really come into her own and has given two unbelievible performances. She did not deserve to get knocked off. The red-headed kid definately did. I love George Huff also, and if we based my decision on his last two performances, he could have even been a candidate to get knocked off last week. But Jennifer? No way. That decision last night totally discouraged me from having much interest in the outcome of the contest. All I know, if they dont get the red-head off next week, I dont think I am going to continue to watch.
 
I agree with you Lamondfan...Jennifer didnt deserve to go last night...I dont know how she managed to get the lowest number of votes. And yes, George's performances the last 2 weeks were not too good but if you look at their overall performances, then he definitely deserves to still be in the competition. I really thought that Jennifer, Fantasia, Latoya and George would end up as the Top 4. And that John, Diana, and Jasmine would be the next to go. Now it's anyone's guess as to who will win this thing.
