Ok I was wondering if I can get some feedback..

I met this guy two years ago.We have so much in common from our goals to our dreams...When we talk I get this feeling like damn he really listens to me.Its like high school.I never get that way either usually Im the one playing hard to get but with him its like I get weak lol...The thing is hes 37 hes 13 yrs older than me..I feel like age is nothing if you feel someone age shouldnt matter.My family is saying that I shouldnt go further with him becuase hes to old for me so they say...I seen alot of relationships that last long with age differences ..My best friend was just telling me to think about it and that she dont think I should even go further and that has me like wondering..Im still going to pursue him lol that sound funny to me lol like i said i never go after the guy its always the other way around pero with him its like I dont want to let him slip away...Its so hard because no on eis for us .pero ill cross my fingers and hope all turns out well..Im just wondering what some of yall think
 
well #1 STOP wondering what OTHER ppl might say or think......if u feel him then go for it! regardless of whether he's 27, 37, or 47 the outcome will be the same if his intentions aren't real. girl if u feel so connected w/ him and happy when u speak to him or are w/ him then go for urs.....TRUST ME
 
Hey Meli age shouldnt even be a factor (unless they are under age) If yuo are feeling this man and he got his shit together nto some 37yr old living with mama then why the hell not . A woman has got needs and if this man makes you feel as if he can meet them echa le mano mija, Men these days aer hard to find a good one even harder lol 🙂

If you listen to what everyone else says, you might suffer the consequences for the rest of your life. Do what you feel is right for you. Don't let obstacles like that get in your way. If other people, including your parents are allowed to be in a relationship then you have that same right. The age shouldn't matter. You have the right to be happy. And if they can't accept the relationship for what it is, then look at it as them being selfish. 🙂

i will go for it ...I think they just fear that because hes older that it will affect my life style in fact hes a dj and hes into things guys his age arent he doesnt even look 37 he looks 29 ..I am not going to listen and just go for it .,You guys are right good men are hard to find and so is that feeling because I never felt so goo goo gaga over someone before,.,lol..Thanks for the advice

i got good opinion on this. but i think its gonna offend alot of people who have age diff in there relationship.

so for once im gonna keep my mouth shut. lloll. but i dont think its a good idea. i have theory to back that up. but im gonna let this ship sail in silence down its river llloll.

first question you would ask yourself is why is no matter whats going on. why is

37 yr old guy doing hitting on a girl 13 yrs younger? back in the day.

I believe that if both parties are of legal age then go for it, single and willing then it won't hurt to give it a try. I for one am not sure if its gonna work because I have seen too many May/December relationship go bad because of the maturity factor. Both parties have to be on the same level, if not after awhile it get pretty boring talking to someone who just doesn't understand. Not that finding someone your age is means you gonna be on the same level. Just take it easy and see where it leads you.

Thanks for the feedback.Its funny becuase like we are at different times in our lives but we have common ground.,Hes not one of them guys that just becuase hes older he doesnt act like he knows it all or been there done that attitude and that is what I like about him...I know there is a huge age difference and I guess I have to make sure that its right for both of us...I mean we are not in love as of it but I do enjoy his company and the way he makes me feel...

Rbonuc I know I say you talk to much pero just this one time im curious on why your view is a negative one as far as age difference.Im just wondering becuase alot of my friends and family seem to think that way.
 
Melissa.....like SexyAngel329 said, if his shit is straight there is no reason you shouldn't go for it.....my mother always tells me I need to find someone older that is settled and knows what they want in life, and is doing it.....follow your heart, but never forget to think with your head....have you asked ur friends and family what besides his age they oppose? i must admit that they sometimes do see things that you might be subconsciously omitting from your mind.....talk to them, and if its nothing but the age, then do you girl....good luck.....
 
go Meli!!! look girl, now you know that if it feels right ALL AROUND then why worry so much about what others think. In the end it's you and that person (alone) acceptance amongst family is a cool thing but you can't live life always trying to please your family.

and as soon as i get back from working in the freeking limo. im going to give you a detaliled back in the day break down of why its not a good idea. its alot shorter explenation than you think.

anyway i gotta go. cuase i gotta make some OT fridays hopeing in the limo.

im 25 days away from paying the last god dam loan i have on this earth. and thats why lately ive been alittle hyped up latey with the posts.

day after i pay this crap off im going on vacation so anyway ill give you a break down of why not.
