Stop the spread of "Crapstyle"...Here are 5 simple steps for Freestyle artists/producers/labels.

1. If it is remake of ANYTHING - put it on the shelf...

2. If it sounds like "IN A DREAM" - burn the master

3. If it contains a loop of "PLANET ROCK" - remix the hell out of it.

4. If it carries a West Coast vibe - make sure it doesn't sound like an Angelina, Jocelyn Enriquez or Lina Santiago song...

5. Before you release it - send a copy to your Uncle Rhoq - he'll tell you the truth as whether or not you should release it!!!

TO THE FANS - Stop being so willing to waste your money on new Freestyle releases. If you continue to buy everything that comes out, the artists/producers/labels will continue to take advantage of the on-line Freestyle fan's naivity. They know you are willing to do anything to help keep Freestyle on life support - don't fall for their trap!

Crapstyle is what is killing our music - help put a stop it.

Thank you...

The preceeding message was paid for by The PFC!!!

Jack...

It's more like "Planet Rock" to the demise of Freestyle, unless of course that is the bleak and dismal future you speak of...

Kenny - Cheer up!

Thank you Anthony!

heyyy... i like Angelina and Jocelyn Enriquez...

Angelina brings a very "bomba-girl, 50's feel" to freestyle with the "airy" feel of most California music....

and Jocelyn is playing around with new beats that include her native Filipino heritage.....

both are good freestyle artists in my opinion... i give them their P'z...

Rhoq... who do you suggest as the new artists that are worth listening to??

Rhoq - Name 5 current performing artists that you think
have what it takes to record the new sound of Freestyle.

& do you have any example songs that you actually like
& feel would help popularize freestyle?

Thanks - I want to get an idea of
what you like - we all know what you don't like 🙂

Yo RhoQ what can I say... as some may put it "true that" 1 million times.Totally agree, couldn't have said it better myself, fuhgettaboudit!! Tell em' to send it to Uncle Freejack first!! Hey RhoQ I think you just put yourself on more than one hit list, but what the hell, better you than me.😉

It wouldn't be the first time the PFC has been "blacklisted" from the on-line Freestyle community and I am quite sure it won't be the last time...

Jack - I like the Old School sound basically anything recorded between 1984 and 1992 meets my approval...From 1993 on it has all been hit or miss...

Although I was very disappointed by his last album, I have heard some stuff from Kenny Freestyle that I liked very much.

I think the Santana Twins definitely have what it takes to create some awesome kick-ass new school Freestyle with that old school sound.

Nu-Image are still out there keeping it real.

Ashley just sent me the brand-new version of her song "QUIT ALL THOSE GAMES" edited by the one and only DJ Paradise and although I liked the original version from the Flipzide compilation - this mix is HOT!!! If you are fan of Old School multiple edits, you have to check out this mix!

I liked the 2 Stylin' Free compilations...

I liked about 75% of the stuff Tazmania released...Same goes for Artistik...

There are plenty of other things that I like, I am sure you can get the idea from what I have written thus far.

maybe the reason why there isnt anything out thats worth listening is because the beat has been beaten to death? thats why you see so many freestyle artists going in another direction!!! we should listen, afterall, they were the ones who perfected the sound, "NOT US FANS". see the difference?

I see you are willing to accept anything that is thrown your way. Very sad indeed.

I was watching MTV last night and they played a video by someone named Kosheen. I know I have seen some talk about Kosheen around here recently and I must say that although it is not exactly Freestyle (but yet, I could see it being used very easily by DJs in a Freestyle mix) it is better than alot of other stuff I have heard recently!

NO, IM NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT ANYTHING THAT IS THROWN AT ME, THATS WHY I CHOSE TO ACCEPT A DIFFERENT PATH THAN ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SEE FREESTYLE LIVE ON, WITH THE SAME BEAT.

I think if I didn't shave my head, I would be pulling my hair out right now!

OMG, does that coincide with when you feel freestyle took a turn for the worse? Or where u doing it for fashion LOL?

I shave my head because I don't like having hair on my head...Hair is too much of a hassle with combing and styling, etc...The quick and simple solution is to shave it all off!!!

I find that shaving my head once every other morning with a Schick XTreme-3 does the trick!
