This poem was inspired by the trey songz song “just gotta make it”
In the morning when I wake up you are the first thing I see,
I can stare at you as u sleep for hours wondering how things will be,
When u awake will it be just like any other day with our struggles and strifes,
Or will todays daylight shed some sort of encouragement on our lives?
as we persistently push on battle after battle day after day,
I want to express to you that I do love u so but can never find the words to say.
6 years together and I could never see myself with nobody but you,
and I know inside my heart u feel the same way too.
Ive been told im to stubborn and ill admit it is true
But I am working on that now not only for me but also for you.
We all have our downfalls and Im glad u accept me for mine
I know you are working on yours as well and i realize it takes time.
When we put our troubles aside and really let ourselves go
That is when what is real becomes all we need to know.
These words come form my heart so they are tru beyond a shadow of a doubt,
You are the only drug in my life that i could never live without.
You and me for life, ill never be down for nobody but you
