Platinum award winning producer and latinhiphop/freestyle/hearthrob pioneer , LEWIS MARTINEE , is now open minded enough to produce freestyle, freestyle/breaks, house and trance remixes for professional and established artist,labels, and production companies..
Martinee is most recognized for his creation ,EXPOSE, but has become one of Freestyle's bigest legends. As young cuban american dj/producer from miami, martinee was responsible for the creation and success of many freestyle artist and responsible for cultivating the freestyle scene in miami. While other producers focused on one group, martinee cultivated and helped out as many as he could..including Expose, sequel, Olga, The Voice In fashion, techno Lust, wild maries, celi bee, paris by air,Cover Girls and many other freestyle artist.he also was known for his work on projects for pet shop boys, debbie Gibson, and a line up of many top 40 and pop artist.
martinee's latest projects were found in works by Son By Four, jaci valazquez, Miss jane, Aira gale, sandee,
China doll, and the new remix work for material for INDIA that will be on sony discos.
With the resurface of freestyle through the trip hop sound of the mid 90's, he produced projects for artist like tony marino, sequel,voice fashion and others on the ToTAl Ritmo cd on Intersound. it was to target the breaks and freestyle markets of that time.
Now after making noise with D'luna the china doll,colaborating with jellybean benitez and now working with the new India project.......it wasnt hard to convince him with the breaks scene and have him open up to start productions and remixes...including those for freestyle artist.
Although there has been contreversy about martinee in the past, regarding the history of Expose.....he remains a freestyle legend and one of the most gifted producers known. It is due to this that he has proved himself to a new generation and why we believe and back him up now.
(As SANDEE stated on a mega 103.5 interview in miami, after hearing remarks from a former Martinee artist: " Those of you who have worked with him......you should be THANKFULL enough to be given that chance to be in the group and given the oportunity. it lounched your career...be thanful for that!".
as many know..sandee is one of the original memebers of expose and originally recorded all the expose songs before the replacements.she was the blueprint. sandee was not replaced, she left at a time when doors opened for her to become a solo artist and became huge with her singles and her album on fever and Columbia.)
