one of the things i am starting to love about being part of Clubfreestyle and going tom the clubs like i do . is learning to navigate the nyc subway system lol dont get me wrong i can get around in manhatten but the outer borughs like queens and brooklyn thats another story

I have to say, I've learned how to get to queens, brooklyn, and around Manhattan, from going to the cf shows.

Manhattan I pretty much already knew, but as for the borroughs, the only one I really knew was Staten Island and that's cause its right over the bridge from me and has the mall. LOL And the only part of the Bronx I knew was Yankee stadium. But from shows I've learned more of the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn, although Brooklyn and I still do not get along! LOL Coming home last night, somehow ended up in Valley Stream. Don't ask. :rolleyes But yeah, getting to know my way around. (Still nothing beats Jersey! :blah )

Staten Island is the only part of NYC that I haven't been to a CF/Freestyle event....and I'd totally get lost too!

impossible 2 get lost in Staten Island...... anyways, unless u live here, you're only passing thru on the expressway to get from Brooklyn to Jersey or vice versa.... :shakinboo

I agree with you 110% on that one lol. For me, without a map, I won't know where the hell I'm going. And its so funny because I live in NYC, and still need a map like a friggin tourist LOL! :lol

One thing that I do know is that Staten Island is the only borough in NYC without direct connection to the NYC subway system. The only way to get there would be either the Staten Island Ferry or the buses on the Verrazano Bridge. There is another bridge I think that connects Manhattan to Staten Island but I forgot the name of it.

I always am driving around with printed directions on my seat. LMAO.....Yahoo maps gives decent directions.

Yahoo maps is the best! After getting lost a few times from mapquest directions, i found Yahoo and they haven't failed me yet!

The old North Shore line on the SIRT should be reactivated...it makes no sense to have a train line if it's just gonna serve the eastern part of SI...and make a Brooklyn-SI subway connection too...would make things a hell of a lot easier!
