I was thinking a little while ago about the good old days in the 80's/90's. What fashion trend would you try to bring back from that time (80's/90's)?

One thing for sure I wish would come back is the way the young crowd then knew how wear their pants on their waist! Not their ass! :blah

the CAVARICCIs craze!!!

with the turtle necks, the KEDS, the leather coats, the GOLD!

Wait.....Im describing the way I look right now!🙂

You know, I look at these kids, young adults, and adults today who do wear their pants below their waist and it looks SO stupid. Why wear a belt if your pants are still saggin' past your ass? It makes no sense to me, I just look at these individuals, roll my eyes, and turn my head in disgust. It portrays such an ignorant, immature, unclassy image. Hip-Hop culture, yeah, okay.

I was never into fashion trends, but I wouldn't mind seeing the girls where those BIG ASS door-knocker earring's they uesd to wear back in the day. Especially with the one's that had "Jennifer" or "Jasmine" going right through the middle! How crazy is that? The name rings. Those were the days.

By the way, what's up with these dudes who wear do-rags and baseball caps? Explain, please.

yvette, I actually only have one pair or ricci's left. my friend, on the other hand, has them all neatly haging up in his closet, awaiting the day they come back.

He tells me "if bell-bottoms can make a comeback, why not CAVARICCIS?"

Carlito this trend today is disgusting! I can't stand it. And I totally agree with you about these do-rags and baseball caps! It's so stupid. And then a lot of these teenagers can't get jobs because of this image. At least back in the days we had class. We dressed to impress! 😉

Remember when Bennetton was really popular? I had quite a few of their sweaters.

What I liked about the way we dressed in the late 80's is that we could wake up and put on great clothes, walk around all day with them on and if you went out that night, you were still "dressed up!"

I agree with you Kenny. Nowadays, people look like they fall out of bed and go out. Where has the class gone??

Freestygal- Bennetton? I still rock Bennetton! They got some kick-ass suits and great seasonal clothes. They got Bennetton for men up here in Boston. Maybe I'll pass by this Thursday since it's pay day. 🙂

Yeah I was in a Bennetton last week and they still have nice clothes...pricey, but nice!

I use to love the girls hairstyle around 88" or 89" !!All that hairspray on a hairduo to make your hair stand high and stiff on the top of your head.I think I wasted a can of Aqua-net hairspray a day for I don't know how long!!! "It was crazy".
And also around the same time I remember we would were these big over size collar shirt with like a strechty or hanging belt wrap around your waist it was decent too.

Do anyone remember this? or was it just here!

One of my faves is back actually. Black Rubber bracelets!

Madonna made them popular before, now Aviril Lavinge has kids wearing them again.

I remember the stuff I used to wear in the 80s! LOL

Blue jeans with holes ripped in them, with black stretch ski pants underneath.

Studed belt with name belt buckle.

Blond streak dyed in my hair.

Black rubber bracelets

2 or 3 watches on the other wrists, all with watch guards.

gold nameplate with nickname punched in it, with the playboy symbol on the bottom corner.

lol
