ive heard people say this a lot but never cared to ask. so can anyone explain what exactly is murphy's law & why people say it at certain situations? same with "i plead the 5th".. WTF??

today mets long time broadcaster bob murphy lost his battle to lung cancer was broadcasting mets games for 41 years another childhood menory lost :(

it will be a sad say for me was a met fan since 7 the long time radio voice of the NY mets will be calling it quits at the end of the season been doing it since 1962 thank you for the 41 yrs murph
