Best Freestyle mix tape

I was wondering if anybody had an opinion on the best freestyle mix they ever heard.I would say it was 1 of Tim "Spinnin" Schommer's Heartbeats, I think it's volume 4, but the whole set is just amazing.I know there was alot of good mixe's that came out of New York, but I still to this day have not heard a mix with the quality and creativity of the Heartbeat series, as far as sampleing, breaks, things like that.

Yeah, Tim is an awsome/creative DJ.... all of his music seems to flow one into another & his different style of beats behind the music is awsome......

Harv Roman is an unknown quantity at this point
You've got to dig up the Tony "Boom Boom" Badea tapes..."Tears May Fall" is just one example of quality, mixed music. It'll bring you back to turntable based crossover mixing as opposed to the razor's edge splice jobs that eventually took over causing commotions when the mixers who sounded great on tape couldn't pull it off live...

Oh, for the days of Ralphi, Tony and Tim...

It was definitely my buddy Tim " Spinnin Schomner's Heartbeats series and
some other mixes he pesonally sent me when we used to network together
to see what hot freestyle cuts were coming out back in the days. But Tim
wasn't the only one!!!!! Julian "Jumpin" Perez, Bad Boy Bill, Mario "Smokin" Diaz
Ralphi "Razz" Rosario and other mixshow deejays from college stations like
WCRX, would throw down on some killer freestyle mixes, and some of these
were live on the air!!!! These were the deejays that made me become a
deejay on the radio. My respects to the deejays from Chicago!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i've searched everywhere on the net and can't find any site to buy

Tim "Spinnin" Schommer captilized freestyle for the Chicago area. His mixes were relentess, streamful and awesome! Tony "Boom Boom" Badea was awesome as well. Mario "Smokin" Diaz was good, but not has good as Tim and TOny. Back in the day, when classic freestyle was hittin hard, Bad Boy Bill, Julian "Jumin" Perez, Ralphi "The Raz" Rosario, were throwing freestyle in with house. THose were the best! Tim helped make freestyle stand out from the crowd.

I was surfin' the Net and found a site with BOTH Freestyle and Miami bass mixes. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. They're by a DJ who goes by DJ WRECKXXX. Here's the link to the Freestyle and Miami Bass mixes.

Don't hear much Miami Bass/Freestyle nowadays but I will always love it. Please post if you find other similar sites!
