Although I am a Steelers fan I must say I have loved watching Brett Favre play ball his love for it and his spirit playing each game was always fun to watch.

LOL

Hey Joe. Yep, brett to many was a big deal Even though I don't have him a top 5 QB of the past 25 years. The wrap is he only has one Super Bowl Ring and he has the most INT's ever along with TD's

he is a big deal for Football he has played ball for what 25 years for a QB to play ball for that long shiat he is what 38 years old thats almost unimaginable, he is a 3 time MVP and has set the record for most career touchdown passes, he has started every Packers game since 9/27/1992 including playoffs thats 275, broke the record for most yards passing, broke the record for most career victories by a starting QB. So him retiring is big news and upsetting to a lot of football fans fans or not of Green Bay.

I agree with Angie on this. Even though I'm a Giants fan, it was great watching him play. And for his age, he gave his all during every game. I know he was going for another ring and this year the Packers were knocked out by the Giants in a close game that went to OT. At the end of the game, you could kind of tell he was thinking about retiring and while questioned in the post game interviews, he declined to answer. He will be missed by the team and football fans in general.

It's amazing that he stayed with one team during the free agency era where ever Joe(Cool) Montana and jerry Rice had to switch teams.
