And Roger, to answer your question in a different angle, I think you will find on my mix, I pretty much used the whole song, both verses, 2 or 3 choruses, and the breaks (some edited down) so there is still the feel and element of a full track.

Hey Paradise, after i read my post, it actually came out the wrong way, I meant to also add to your point that we didn't cut the songs short, but i jumped the gun too soon, and just commented about your good point about mixed comps. They are the only avenue that new school has traveled on, and if not for mixed comps we'd be going in the wrong direction....Oh well, it's been a long day.-----No sweat Steve. Nowadays it seems that the music biz is all screwed up. I guess that explains the flood of mixed comps out there these days because good dance artists can't get a label it seems unless you are a rap/hip-hop. It is extremely rare these days to buy new freestyle comps and I really like the new music on this comp so I will be buying this one. Does anyone know how long (average length) the tracks are on the comp?

Glad i was able to help ya out a little and hope when you get the cd, it will satisfy your craving...
How long are the songs for each track? Each track varies from 4 to 6 minutes, but remember, some of the original tracks already came as a short radio version...
Like Krystal said, let's hope Mickey puts out a full comp with the New School and start a new trend in Freestyle. ...Its like Lotto........Hey, ya never know,lol !!!

serious reviews, well I couldn't wait for Mickey to send me a comp. cause who knows how long it would've taken, but I Ricky VAz as one of the artist on this comp, I took the liberty in purchasing the comp myself, when I tell u I SCREAMMMMMMED so loud to actually see the CD in rochester made me believed that the market of freestyle will continue until freestyle is no more,(SHit with us around I dont think that will ever happen LMAO) and wooow I had samples of the tracks but once the mix is totally together off the hoook man serious! ONce again ia m proud to be on the mix and I hope there another one to come, and for all the artist please please please continue to do ur part and keep rockenum and sockenum !!!! PEace!

Well.. From what Mickey told me it should be in most bigg music store and that the cd is SOny so it sound be out in main stores, I was surprise to see it here in Rochester and its smaller than Philly so I am sure u will fid it in the market.

I Got Banging Beats 2 Two Months Ago In Tower Ecords In Manhattan. It's A Good Cd. Compliments To The New Nyasia Song It's Good. As A Matter Of Fact I Forgot I Had The Cd And Just Saw It In My Car And I Am About To Put It On My Ipod. Cd Is Really Good. Both Old And New.
